GOLDEN YEARS HOME CARE

(916) 333-0383

For over 25 years, my wife Carrie and I have provided personal home care in Rocklin, CA, with one unwavering principle: Every senior deserves to feel respected, safe, and independent in their own home. If you’re researching care options, you likely need answers, not just about services, but about finding a provider who truly understands the emotional weight of this decision. Let me share our journey and expertise to help guide you.

What Is Personal Home Care?

Personal care goes beyond basic assistance. It involves sensitive, hands-on support with private daily tasks, ones that families often struggle to discuss, let alone manage. At Golden Years Home Care, we specialize in:

  • Bathing & Hygiene Assistance: Ensuring cleanliness while preserving dignity.

  • Incontinence Care: Discreet, compassionate help with toileting.

  • Dressing & Grooming: Helping your loved one feel confident.

  • Mobility Support: Safe transfers and movement around the home are essential in assisted living environments.

Why Personal Home Care Is Our Life’s Work

Carrie and I didn’t choose this field—it chose us. Here’s why you can trust our expertise:

  • Roots in Family Care: We grew up working in our family’s senior care facilities, learning the difference between adequate and exceptional care.

  • Proven Resilience: In 1996, we opened Golden Years Guest Home. Our first client had advanced bone cancer and needed 24/7 in-home care. That experience shaped our commitment to dignity-first service in senior living.

  • Local Focus: We’ve served Rocklin seniors for decades, adapting to each family’s unique needs.

This isn’t just a business. It’s a calling.

3 Signs Your Loved One Needs Personal Home Care

  • Struggles with Hygiene: Skipping baths, wearing dirty clothes, or avoiding toileting due to fear of falling.

  • Resistance to Family Help: Anger or embarrassment when you assist with private tasks.

  • Declining Mobility: Difficulty getting dressed or moving safely around the home is a common challenge in in-home care.

If you see these signs, a professional caregiver can ease the transition.
